"So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life--whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesn't life consist of more than food and clothing? ...And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you?...and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.

So much has happened since my last entry.  I'll give you the short version!

Tom returned from his month in VA.  It's good to have him back home doing all the manly jobs and keeping me company when he is free.  This weekend we'll relax at the Gaylord/Opryland Resort for the weekend in Nashville for a little getaway.  Can't wait.

We finally got to visit Michael and Maggie in Hillsdale.  The biggest blizzard since 2002 in Dayton didn't stop us from driving away from it and heading to MI for the weekend.  We had such fun visiting a famous deli, Whole Foods, taking a tour of the new student center at Hillsdale College and chilling at M&M's cozy home.   A tiny kitchen doesn't stop Maggie from cranking out some delicous meals.  Stromboli and Fondue were highlights as we sat around their coffee table and dined.  Visit Maggie's blog for pictures and more details.

March was a month of birthday celebrations.  Rachel and I celebrated our 25th and 50th birthdays.  Visit the link to her blog for more details on her birthday and to see some cute pictures.

Tom gave me a surprise birthday party at Brio Italian  Restaurant.  It was so nice to be surprised with friends and family, balloons, gifts and love from everyone.  My birthday fell on a Wednesday, the night we have house church.  They showered me with cards, balloons, tulips, gift cards and lots of love.   Tom finished off the night with a beautifully decorated cake from my favorite bakery--strawberry swirl with buttercream icing.  Yum.

Rachel and I pampered ourselves last week with one-hour facials at a day spa.  What a treat.  I could have that treatment monthly!

We are looking forward to seeing Becca perform in Peter Pan as Princess Tiger Lily.  Family are coming from FL, TN, MI and OH.  They are all coming the same weekend and staying here!  I love it!  Becca is excited.  If you'd like to order tickets, call the box office at (937)352-1525 .  We love going to hear her school's ministry choir sing on Sunday evenings.  The words to their songs glorify the Lord and bless so many who come to listen.

Reagan continues to bring me much joy.  She can put a smile on my face no matter how "blue" I'm feeling.  Even though she has a beautiful name, I still add more nicknames to the list I started.  Some of them include: My little Snowflake, ReagieRoo (sort for ReagieRooSki), Roo, Boo Boo, and sunshine.

Soon we will be going to Michael's college graduation (May 10), celebrating Rachel's first Mother's Day and our 28th wedding anniversary.  I'll fill you in on the details next month.

    Thanks for reading.
